Help desk
A help desk is an assistance and information resource that troubleshoots problems with computer or similar products. A help desk support maintained by corporation is often provided to their customers via a toll-free number, e-mail and/or website. The so-called "in-house" help desks are geared toward providing the same kind of help for employees only.
